Characteristics
Both national and international standards, including IS-335 2018, IEC 60296:2020, ASTM D 3487, BS 148, JIS, AS, and ASTM, are fully met by theitems. According to IEC 60296, DBPC, an additive found in the inhibited grades, is on the list of authorized inhibitors. There are no PCBs, DBDS, passivators, or metal de-activators in the products. In addition to possessing outstanding dielectric strength, resistivity, and dissipation factor, they also provide good oxidation stability with very little acid and sludge formation when tested in accordance with IEC 61125 and ASTM D2440. Excellent cooling properties are made possible by the product's low viscosity and low pour point.
Transformer oils are electrical insulating oils produced by distillation of virgin paraffinic and naphthenic crude oils followed by modern technologies involving high pressure hydrogenation and hydro-treatment. All the processes are monitored closely and appropriate Base oil fractions are selected for further processing.
Further processing involves removal of moisture and polar impurities to obtain good electrical properties. The technologies result in products with very low pour point, excellent oxidation stability, cooling characteristics and electrical properties. These properties make them suitable for the most demanding transformer applications.
